Passionate about your eyes.
At Omololu Ikekwere Optometry our one and only goal is to enhance the quality of our patients' lives by helping them keep healthy eyes. Our clinic uses the newest diagnostic equipment so that our patients get the best possible eye care.
What we do.
Eye examinations, imaging and the ongoing management of eye disease, all at the Kingsway office in Sudbury.
Exams and imaging
Comprehensive eye examinations
Several tests of the eyes, including a full assessment of the front and of the back of the eye, in one appointment.
Digital retinal photography
A photograph of the retina that helps diagnose hypertension, diabetes and macular degeneration, and that we compare against your earlier photos.
Optical coherence tomography
A scan of the deeper layers at the back of the eye, more detailed than a photograph, rather like an X ray of the retina.
Visual field testing
A test of peripheral and central vision, also requested by the MTO to renew or reinstate a driving licence.
Dry eye management
Treatment and ongoing monitoring for dry eye, including working out and preventing the underlying cause.
Red eye assessment
Conjunctivitis has viral, bacterial and other causes. We diagnose it and prescribe the medication needed to treat it.
Conditions we manage and co-manage
Glaucoma management
Diagnosis and management of glaucoma, including drops that reduce eye pressure, and co-management with ophthalmology when that is needed.
Macular degeneration
We compare photographs and scans of the macula over time, watch closely for progression, and recommend treatment aimed at delaying it.
Diabetic retinopathy
Diabetic patients need a dilated examination every year, and we monitor closely for any sign of retinopathy developing.

Excellent and friendly service from the moment we walked into the office. I highly recommend her!!
Had a great experience. My appointment was on time. The receptionist and the Dr were very professional and pleasant. Both had a sense of humour.
Dr. I and her staff are absolutely wonderful! Patient and kind, always answering all questions and making me feel at ease. They have state of the art equipment that make appts quick and easy too (from arrival to departure less than a half hour), and I am always able to get an appt within about a week of calling.
